Women in Construction

Thought I would post this picture of myself in my hard hat so you guys could see how bad ass I look. Well, maybe not. But it is difficult to take a quality picture of yourself with a blackberry camera. I apologize.

Well, I was thinking I was pretty cool up until yesterday afternoon when Laura sent me an email. This email contained pictures of her day at work last Friday. See below. Clearly, Lo is a lot more bad ass then me as she got to operate machinery and heavy equipment. Nice work Laura! Hopefully, some day I will learn how to use those pieces of equipment though I am sure JPC's insurance company might get a little nervous with me behind the wheel...Is it a wheel or how are they operated?





Whether it is just me showing off my hardhat or Laura trying out the machinery, I am glad that we are both experiencing and learning about the construction industry. Girl Power!
