Apparently, I am not as big of a Dan Patrick radio show fan as I claimed to be last week. I was informed by Michelle that not only do Dan and the Danettes provide their “bests of the weekend,” but they also offer up their “worst of the weekend.” I had a momentary brain fart and forget this detail. Sorry readers. I really do listen to Dan Patrick pretty much every day especially now that I have my own radio at my desk so I am not sure how this tidbit escaped me. Oh well, we live and we learn! Without further ado, here are my best and worst of the weekend.
Best of the Weekend: Overall, the best part of my weekend was going to Chicago for the premature St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Within this trip there were several highlights so I will just hit on a few. 1. Spending time with people that I do not get to see very often. 2. California Pizza Kitchen. 3. Seeing the green river. 4. Georgetown vs. West Virginia game.
Worst of the Weekend: 1. The weather on Friday and Saturday was terrible. I was quite annoyed with the fog since I could not enjoy the 40th story view of Chicago from my hotel room. 2. My internal clock waking me up at 6:30 am on Saturday morning. Ugh. 3. Jameson. 4. Sitting by two of the most annoying guys ever on the train ride home.
Anyone have any good stories from the weekend and care to share. Please I beg of you.
Until next time,
The Bean Spiller

I can't believe Frostie Freeze and the cookie dough didn't make it on your list of Best things from the weekend. I will put the first trip of the year to FF on my best of weekend, but then again most of my weekend involved working.
ReplyDeleteAll the snow being gone and warm temps are some of my Best things of weekend...and babysitting Morgan.
Worst of the weekend...hmmmm...no women's bball on? Yes, that would be it.
HI Meesh! I was wondering if you could settle a dispute between Jean the Bean Bag and I. First, she called me a light weight drinker. Which is besides the point but then she insisted that I was a light weight physically. Now I understand that I'm no female athlete but in a fight, who would win?
ReplyDeleteGRETILE~well, tough call, funny though Jean The Bean calling you a light weight in drinking...what is that saying "the pot calling the kettle black." Suddenly 2 shots of Jameson and a little day drinking and she's top dog?
ReplyDeleteAs far as a female athlete does she not recall your days on the mighty Craig Tennis Team??? In a fight, well I think it would depend if it was a cage match or not...
so, me is what you are trying to say
ReplyDeleteGirls girls no cat fighting unless you really are ready to duke it out. the best of my weekend was cooking for George and his 3 friends as they love to eat and don't care what. I must really be a light weight because after 2 beers I couldn't enjoy a game of "a..hole" with them. Walking the beach with G and M another highlight. Receiving the picture of the little rd headed surfer girl carving the waves started my Monday off to a tremendous start. Looking forward to a visit from jeannie and will hide all my candy and DC.
